Yeah, these days it is getting that way. I run two operating systems: linux and windows 7 in virtualbox under linux so I can run photoshop and one other program (imagesplus). I give windows 4 GB and keep 8 for linux. I tried 6 and 6 GB but my linux work slowed down as I do everything else in linux. So with 24 GB, I could give each operating system 12 GB.
