First Avocets of the spring

Finally they have returned to my area.
Wild from the hide; seems to be using exactly the same nest scrape as last year (remember Casper!)

A sweet bird Richard and nicely presented. Very good exposure, pose and angle. I wish the upper left background was the same as the rest of the background but that's a small point.

I would be tempted to run a g/blur on the oof background just to take out some of the patterning but nit picking really! Great angle, not easy getting low at Marshside!
