Greater Roadrunner

Workshop: Laguna Seca Ranch, South Texas

D3, 600, ISO 1000, f4, 1/800. Called in.

This was taken under dark skies. I like that he has both feet in the air.

Wow, what a fantastic capture, Alan. Roadrunner on the go! Having both feet up in the air is the icing on the cake here. Excellent detail, IQ and comp. Might lighten the dark blob in the BG just a little.

Just superb as usual.
A lifer bird for me, probably not for those in the southwest, but I have never seen one.
Great sense of motion, exactly what I think when I think of Roadrunners.

LOL super low angle and running pose. Where's the coyote? Love it.

Alan, what a pose. And to get the bird running like that with that angle to the camera...perfect. liked it a lot.
