March Theme: Subjects with Complimentary Backgrounds.

Our subjects are the stars of our photos, but many times a wonderful background just puts an extra shine to them! It is also an element of an image that we must pay lots of attention to in order to make successful bird images (at least artistically speaking). For March show us your best "complimentary background" images!

As usual simply start a new thread in Avian and select the word "Theme" from the drop down menu next to the title.

A little clarification on the theme, Dan. I see that the fine images being posted have bg's of a similar color as the subject. Is this what you mean to be "complimentary"? I was originally thinking in terms of complementary (oops) colors, opposites on the color wheel. I didn't achieve this in my posts but was thinking along those lines. Your thoughts.

Hey Dan, good point. It could be opposites colours, matching colours, or similart patterns/shapes between plumage and BG. Pretty subjective theme, eh!
