Love the light and the iridescence that it has brought out. The HA is just perfect, and I like the bg too. A bit tight at the bottom for me.
Sharpness is superb, and setup looks very natural.

Hi Jon, excellent exposure on the Starling, which in turn shows off the green iridescence nicely. I like the alert pose, overall tack sharp, and against a complimentary BG.

Am I missing something here? Is it my monitor" The last two posters comment "overall tack sharp" and "perfectly exposed and sharp" but to me the legs, tail and wing tip are not sharp detracting from the picture.

The head and breast are nicely done.

Thanks for all the C&C everyone, I agree a little more space at the base would have been beneficial, I was actually set up to get shots of long tailed tits which are considerably smaller, I have a vertical format which I will submit in a day or two.
Rick I agree the feet and tail are not sharp but have you any idea what kind of aperture would be required to get them sharp in this pose at this magnification? The DOF is minimal at 6.5m with a 1.6 crop and 500 mm lens and I was already at ISO 400 and f7.1. (DOF guide at Cambridge in Color).
