Poor toucan; I believe they do engage in bill fencing so maybe thats how it got busted. May also have hit a window

Very interesting image. The colors are great and I like your choice of crop to go with the horizontal perch. I also like the raindrops on his back. It must be very hard to get the right exposure on these guys so kudos to you for a great exposure,
