Got this Indian Spotted Eagle feeding on a garden lizard in a pumkin plantation. usually they feed on mice and insects, but never miss such opertunities to hunt down reptiles.

HI Kiran, Your pictures are consistently top notch and this one is no exception. You have managed to capture amazing wild action and to add to that, the sharpness, detail, background and light is absolutely perfect. Oh and beautiful bird too!

What I love best about the many good things going on in this image is the fact the lizard is held on in the best possible way artistically speaking (head towards us, legs dangling, tail curled nicely). Very cool!!

Very cool shot with the lizard prey. Good balance between shadow and light, although top of the yellow beak seems a bit hot.

What a shot Kiran Bhai!

Just when I begin to think that it doesnt get better than your previous images, you come up with such gems. Its amazing that you have the eagle clear of the leaves or any foliage for that matter given the habitat.

I like Daniel's comment about the lizard (I see a hint of sadism in that comment....lol , poor lizard he has nothing going for him.... lol)

IMO, the eye could be a little sharper and brighter. (May be it appears that way due to the shadow cast by the orbital ridge of the bird). Should be an easy fix if you wish.

Another amazing shot. I really like the HA and the fact that one can see the lizard's head. Absolutely no nits from me,
Gail
