A typical early morning farm scene in the small Freestate area in South Africa

What a lovely image!! I might consider a slice off of the bottom no higher than where the white reflection starts on the LHS.

I agree, the reflection is very enticing and certainly makes the image. I can see Jay's suggestion on the bottom crop working OK but I feel the OP works well too.

Have reposted the image with bottom cropped off - your thoughts ?

A wonderful image either way. For my taste, I prefer the re-post but might crop just a little less so that the cloud tip reflection on the right does not touch the edge of the frame.

Craig, I agree with Dave; I too like the RP but would does a "hair's breadth".

The reflection is fantastic. I prefer Jay's repost above, but liked the original as well.

Heya Craig :) Great work with the reflection. Both options work well but I may settle for a little less of the bottom than the 2 nd post but its a personal choice !

Hi Craig, the reflection and clouds are fantastic! I like the overall IQ and the tranquility of the scene. I prefer the OP.

Hi Craig, a lovely scene with great reflection. I like the original post and for the slight crop, I would crop just above your name in the OP. Nice work!

Typical scene of the Eastern Free State area - where you between Clarens and Fouriesburg/Ficksburg?
Love the early morning light and the reflections. For me the OP is fine as it seems that there is an equal amount of real sky and reflected sky.
I assume it's a calf standing on the RHS? Any chance of getting more detail on it?
