Hi All,

After months of trying I finally got what I wanted, several times in fact.

What a day!...The weather was pants up until the afternoon when the clouds finally parted and the Owl's came out to play.

Funny to see the Owl listening to the shutter going off, I could of watched him for hour's bobbing and weaving wondering what was hidden in the bushes.

Hope you like it.

Best Regards
Carl.

this is great! nice clean perch and a beautiful BG. excellent details and light super eye contact. My only suggestion is that this beautiful image will look much better in a vertical than a square crop. you can do a perfect composition with the diagonal perch

Fantastic bg, perch, bird and eye contact. +1 to a vertical. Gorgeous image, either way.

Knock out -- one to be justifiably proud of, still struggling to get a decent shot of SEO this year.

This is beautiful. I vote for the vertical. Well exposed, sharp, great bg, great light.

Hi All,

Sorry but looks like I've deleted the original post by accident in replace of the below image, vertical position, hope you like it.

repost is excellent as a final touch I'd move the owl a bit to the right to put it sightly off-centered! I wish this one was mine!!!
