Lots of cyan and a little blue in the whites of this bird.
I suggest masking and remove cyan
Also, a bit soft -- try applying a 15/60 contrast mask to see the details in the feathers improve.
Additional masking with curves to lighten the owl seems to work as well.

I would like to ask a couple questions.
What is a contrast mask?
what does 15/60 mean?
How is applying a contrast mask better than sharping to bring out details?

thankyou very much

Its described in Artie's Digital Basics.
It is an additional means of sharpening, particularly when the image appears a little soft after normal sharpening.
15/60/0 are the 3 settings you'd use in sharpening

Thanks

I had read that before but had forgotten about it.

Thankyou
