This image was taken exactly 6 secs after the first Puku chase image I submitted a few days ago, to show Morkel that the Nsefu gang were indeed closing in.:w3
Yes there is noise on the lions as I tried to extract some detail here as they are obviously just OOF with my intention on the puku, the dilemma one faces trying
to extract enough S/S whilst shooting @ f/4 and ISO6400:2eyes2:.
I like how the heron is completely indifferent to the chase for life. And yes, perhaps I could have cropped out the river bank on the other side, but have left it full frame.
Immediately after this shot we had to quickly shift into reverse and follow the chase which had now progressed around the point to where the 3 pride males MGM were awaiting.:bg3:
