Hi Joshi. This cute little guy is giving you a nice pose with its head turned slightly toward you. I like the diagonal of the comp and you have good sharpness where you most need it, though I would wish for a little more DOF to get the toes a bit sharper. There are a few specular highlights on the body - between the head and front leg - that could easily be cloned away. You might try some color nr on the background and I would suggest toning down the light spots in the ULC. A few tweaks will take this nice image up a notch or two. :S3:

Hey Joshi,
Great advice by Steve above....those tweaks will help take the image up a notch. Like him I too wish for a touch more DOF....as mentioned....to get the foot a bit more in focus.

Joshi, I agree with the other two on changes you could make but I do think you do have a really nice image here. One thing I question is that you had an ISO of 800 but a shutter speed of 400. Surely you could have dropped that ISO down along with the ss and taken less of a risk on getting a noisy image. Remember to keep that ISO as low as you can while still getting the combination of ss and aperture that you need to produce the image.

Cute little guy, Joshi, and like the textures, pose and diagonal line. Good suggestions above.

Hey Joshi, in addition to what has already been suggested, I would crop a little from the top and right so the lizard's eye is closer to the UR ROT position. A little more depth would be nice but I do like it as presented. :S3:
