Wow this is pretty. Love how the perch extends to the other side, like the grasses and the bg. Of course the owl is great. Glad you found your cards.

Another gorgeous Snowy. I like the idea of the comp, but might have been tempted to take just a bit off the right and top to make him slightly larger in the frame while still showing the cantilever. He looks like he's about to fall off his perch, but his eyes are level, so I guess it doesn't need any rotation. Let's see some more from the lost card.

Thanks Bill but in this case I am not sure about your suggestion regarding taking off from top and right as it will destroy the compositional proportions/ balance which is what I like about this image. If you superimpose the rule of third grid lines you will see that I have purposefully anchored the canonical points to certain features in the image :w3.

Very pretty photo, you whites on the Owl look very good and i do like the wet feather look with these guys.

High Arash lovely shot, like the composition. I like the composition but as you mentioned it, maybe this would interest you, i.e. the "Golden Ratio":

This would give very similar but not quite the same - maybe worth a look see?

Yes Jon thanks I had seen this before! The golden ratio is a very interesting concept, it is very close to 3 : 2 we use in photography!

I like the choice of comp here kinda leads you right to the owls face. I like the grasses too but maybe not the two behind the perch. Maybe it's only one and a little blur thingy on the right.
