Not sure if it is leveled correctly, or if it needs compositional adj. Used smart sharpen on downsized image. Too much?

oh this is lovely William, the detail in the feathers on its back and the reflection are exquisite. I'm very poor at crops, but i find myself wishing for a little more space above its head - and maybe a little less sharpening on the head. but that may be the brown texture on the bill that is reading as sharp jaggies from sharpening. 1 tiny quibble - is the color grey between the 2 feathers on the crest lighter than the grey around it? beautiful capture.

Bill, yes - really nice. Exposure and color balance look great. I agree that the crop feels a bit tight on top. Leaving (or adding) a bit up there would break the symmetry and make the image stronger in my opinion. I also see some processing issues but I like the image overall.

Wonderful image. I agree with Kerry & Pat about the crop, but it is still a great picture.

Beautiful picture but the subject placement is too tight - IMO. I like what you are trying to do here and this is very close, might repost with more top side.
