Love the spider hair net here Dumay, good lighting and detail on the cheetah, I do find the flowering grass stalks BG a distraction.
Would also loved to have had a degree or two toward us to fully catch the other eye, a fine portrait nonetheless.

Dumay - great detail and IQ. The green bg is great and I don't mind the stalks. My only nit is a very minor one - I wish the white in the URC wasn't there. Well done:cheers:

Well exposed Dumay, excellent depth of detail & colour in a classic pose, a very cool image. Love the grasses/spiders web(s) all over the face and it also links to the grasses in the BKG too.

The Cheetah itself is great apart from the half eye, but I am not overwhelmed by the BG grasses in particular the one nearest the head.

I don't mind the grasses in themselves but what about burning them a bit more to tone down their brightness?

PS: how are things at the lodge post-flooding? :eek3:

It seems as if the grasses will divide us. I love the cheetah but would prefer not to have such bright grass. Lovely IQ on this.

If possible, A move to the left would have gotten better separation of the head and grasses, strengthening and enhancing the image IMO. I would suggest my luminosity mask trick posted many times in the past Dumay and then Multiply the mask to darken the highlights.

See the links at the top of the page.

1) Select highlights using Channels.
2) Create mask on BG copy from that selection.
3) Set Blending Mode to Multiply and Opacity to taste.
