Hello everyone. I managed to find a group of these hawks that had just finished picking their breakfast. I saw them fight for the meal from a distance and managed to approach the victor and shoot a few frames.
C&C welcomed and encouraged.

Excellent photo!
Hawk and prey is sharp and well exposed.
The light is a bit harsh, but you take what you can, and this is very nice.

Excellent exposure. I like the feather bits in LLC. Nice line created by the prey's wing. Nice and sharp.Good clen BG. Light a bit harsh but doesn't bother me at all,
Gail

Hi Robert, what a great angle you have captured from your car - looking at this, it looks like you could have been on the ground, well done. Good DOF on the Hawk, sharp, and I do like the colours. The inclusion of his kill adds so much to the overall image, and of course, the pose showing it off too.

Great image here - most of the Harris's Hawk images seem to be from baited setups. The natural prey item adds a lot - was it a pigeon?
