The Big Hunt

This is one of my fav hunts till date. The Short Toed Snake eagle took on a large checkered Keel Back snake and made the hunt interesting as the snake fought back denying the eagle a grip on its head.

Spec: 1/1000, F 10, ISO 800, -/2/3

Mk4+ 500mm+1.4TC

Kept the crop tight for web.

I think we have the IOW here! Absolutely amazing. The IQ, the drama, the snake's open mouth ( actually made me feel afraid when I clicked on the thumbnail), the tail around the neck...I do wish you had been a bit further to the left when you pressed the shutter but this is a minor nit. 10 out of 10!!!:5

Great action, lighting, techs. Yes, a slightly different angle would have been even better ( a bit more to the left as mentioned) but this one has loads of impact, which trumps all other considerations.
