Took this yesterday after sunset and it was very overcast and dark but this western was being too cooperative to not shoot. I did what I could to remove the blue cast but keep a cool feel. Let me know what you think!

Steve, I think it looks great! I would suggest boosting the overall level of the image, as you have plenty of headroom in the whites. You might also consider moving the bird/refelection (which is very nice) bit up in the frame, i.e., more room on the bottom and a crop from the top. The water level is pretty hard to gauge in this image, but I think you have it right! I love the grebes and their red eyes.

Thanks for the advice. I absolutely did have a ton of headroom in the whites and it brightened up a bunch. So weird that it didn't seem dark to me after processing in RAW and PS. I'll try and build a little more canvas on the bottom and see how that looks.

Like it as presented and the cool look could be from sky and often is natural. Anyway, looks real good to me. I really like the way you framed the subject - well done.
