Hi Morris,

I remember this young fella...I hope he comes back with his parents this year...beautiful use of fill flash without flash most of my images went to bin...

Nicely done Morris and a very cute little owl. Focus and exposure look spot on. I might be tempted to look at a bit of cropping to remove some of the habitat on the left.

Hi Morris, I like the inquisitive pose with good eye contact. Good detail, and his plumage blends in with the surroundings. I agree, some of the firewood on the left is a touch distracting. :w3

Thank you Sachin,
This is a different day than the one we were there. The two babies were a delight to watch and photograph and I’ve got a huge collection of them.

Thank you Dave,
It is frequently a tough call for me when I comes to removing things from my images as it prevents me from submitting them to some of the places I do though others don’t mind the editing as long as it’s stated. I do agree that getting rid of the twig in front of the stump would improve this.

Thank you Stuart,
What you point out is one of the things that kept me coming back to photograph the 2 baby owls over and over. I agree about the twig, see above.
