This Cheetah had just finished a Impala and as he stood up he gave me this eye to eye look.

Wonderful! Pretty clean for an after-meal portrait.

These creatures are, to me, the finest and most elegant design for their function. I never tire of seeing these images, and hope to be making my own next month on my first east African safari.

Jeffery with the US $ to the Rand at almost 8 to 1 it will be the best money ever spent. Phinda In South Africa is the place for you if you want cheetah. If you come here and if interested Ill put you onto someone who can help getting you the best lodge around in Phinda she is a great wild life safai travel agent.
Thanks for the commet Steve.

Beautiful image, Peter. Love the stare. The tight vertical crop works well here.

Peter,

Awesome image of a beautiful animal. It looks a bit too soft to me. I downloaded it and ran USM at 1 round 175/.2/0 and 2 rounds at 125/.2/0 and it looks dead-on sharp.

With another round of USM like Robert suggested this is a killer headshot. Very well done!
