View Full Version : Emerging May Apple

In the next few weeks these little buds will be sprouting from the ground in the wooded area's of a the local parks. This one is about three inches high. I shot in this close for an abstract feel. If you've never seen the May Apple plant it stands out of the ground like an open umbrella, and has a white flower that grows in the underside of the umbrella. I'll post more of this flower when they arrive.

Your images always amaze me! I have a 100mm Canon Macro with IS. I want to start using it more due to your fantastic creations. the fine details, lines and patterns, the varied hues of color. Many thanks for sharing your beautifully done works of art Mike.

Mike, I have really been enjoying your images. And this one looks technically perfect to me even though the subject doesn't excite me a whole lot (I am not familiar with the plant). Very well done. Nice job.

Hey Stuart it was shot with a Sigma 180 macro, F22
