Southern Carmine Bee-eater
Created at a large breeding colony on the Zambezi River in Namibia, from a boat. I battled to keep focus against the background, but through hard work and persistence got a few images. I like this one because of the diagonal line that the wings form.
Camera Model: Canon EOS-1D Mark III
Date/Time: 2007:10:12 07:09:20
Shutter speed: 1/1600 sec
Aperture: 7.1
Exposure mode: Av
Flash: Off
Metering mode: Multi-segment
ISO: 500
Focal length: 500mm
