Hi,
This image was created the same day as my spoonbill (posted yesterday) Flamingo/Everglades National Park; Again, NO color, hue or sat. was added or removed from the bird or the sky. Colors are "as was" when created. The settings were as follows:
Shutter speed: 1/3200 sec
Aperture: 6.3
Exposure mode: Av
Exposure compensation: +1/3
Flash: Off
Metering mode: Center-weighted average
ISO: 400
Focal length: 150mm

Suggestions or comments?
Best to all and THANK YOU EVERYONE for this great forum!

Hi Michael,

You got the White Pelicans in Flamingo, good for you! Stuart told me you were going back on Sunday, good luck :)

Exposure is excellent, wish for the wing to be in the full upbeat, making a better profile and eliminating the shadow,

In the big file, selectively sharpen the eye a bit so it doesn't get lost.

See you soon!

Hi Michael,

Nice job getting this Pelican in flight. I like the deep blue sky bg. The head and eye area looks a bit soft and there is some halo visible around the wing tips and bottom. I'm guessing the halo was caused by an imperfect selection mask when sharpening the bird.
