Lovely action captured here,Gail, with good light on the bird.Would have wished for a better head and body angle.

Neat feeding behaviour on the crab carcass and good job getting low. Ditto Arno about body angle...I take it you couldn't move to your left.

Thanks guys! I do have a better angle of this guy. I thought the light was better in the OP but it appears that a better angle of bird is better. Here is a better shot and I clone out the OOF rocks in the BG,
Gail
PS. I hope it is OK to post a different picture

Nice low angle and nice behavior captured , Gail. I would go with the second one as it has nicer head and body angle.

I much prefer this one too. Excellent low angle, Gail! Great light too, and nice action shot.

Gail, the image in pane #4 is much better than #1 because of HA. I'd take this one and clean up the sand/BG a bit. looks like it needs slight rotation too. The belly is a bit hot, but it's an easy fix.

Excellent light, low angle and details!

Nice image Gail! I prefer the image in pane 4 as well. I like the low angle, lunch and details.

I see what you mean about the great light in pane one Gail, but I overall I do prefer image in pane four. Great low angle, prey adds interest, and like the shallow dof. Arash makes some good suggestions.

Very nice photos with good lighting and details. Personally prefer the first one.

Happy New Year.

I have revamped the image as per Arash's and others suggestions,

Hi Gail,
The chest is still hot, you can see that the red channel is blown in this area. Try to bring down the red channel in RAW/TIFF.

Hope this helps
