I had taken this earlier in December under foggy condition. I used Topaz Adjust to bring out the details in the feathers and applied multiple adjustment layers for saturation, selective colors and curve. Hope you like it...

I like the details of the head feathers especially. Very sharp, esp when contrasted with the water reflection. Having the water white makes it stand out even more.

Indranil, Beautiful pose and water reflection. Love the high key look to the water. I might try to add a little bit of light or life to the eye. A wonderful shot!:S3:

Nice job with both the original capture and processing. I like both the colors and composition. The high key look of the water with that curving ripple adds a lot. Great reflection, too.

I love the soft light, and the white background with just a hint of water delineated by a few spare lines works great for me.

You captured a nice pose and I also like the reflection and the light water.

Hi Denise, I was thinking about the eye before posting. Here is a repost closer to a Merganser's eye...

Indranil, repost does it for me. Loooks better with the eye brightened up a touch. Nice work and capture!

Indranil,

Greetings. Superb repost of a fine image. Particularly like the single sharp line in the water... Good Show!
