aka Nutria, one of the few species of mammal that really needs to be eradicated (at least in North America).
They do a lot of damage in wetlands, but look nice swimming across the ponds.

Dan - nice detail and comp. I like that it's making the wave. The partial reflection seems a bit strange, like there should be more to it which makes it a slight distraction for me, but it is what it is.

Nice to see something different being post on here Dan.

Like the warm, soft tones of the image and good to see a hint of detail/light in the eye, but it's the bow wave & ripples that makes the image for me, as he/she paddles through the water. I can see where Rachel is coming from, re the reflection, but I think it's the bow wave that is affecting things. Nice one Dan.

Good diagonal and interesting wake add interest to the image. A typical food/snack given to gators at parks here in Florida.:Whoa!:
