Anyone who knows me will tell you I am a mild mannered fellow that is slow to anger.
That's a good thing because this is an image of me when I've finally had it.

Nikon D700
Tamron 28-75 2.8 @ 32mm
20 second exposure @ F5.6
I set the camera on a tripod and self timer before I burst into flames.

Very cool fiery blur. Thanks for the how-to. I might evict the spots although they do look a little like sparks from a fire.

The spots are stars.
I used a flashlight with a red filter to paint myself.

Of the 20 second exposure I was only in it for 5 seconds.

Thanks

I should have guessed stars. Thanks for the additional info.:S3:

I'm glad you brought it up, I can't believe I forgot those details:e3.

The left side of your body (right side as we're looking at the image) forms a very effective curve that enhances the composition. And I like the way the shadows become part of the background. Light painting has to be fun. I've gotta try it.

James, that's a cool blur effect... and certainly OOTB thinking! Love it and TFS!

beserk apparition - Cool :c3:

Well done

Gus

Great dramatic OOTB effect, James. Like the blur and the red filtered flashlight worked well to set the mood. Good choice, as red is associated with anger. Your facial expression helps too!
