Here's one from Costa Rica (Savegre) earlier this year. BG was a salmon-colored building that I desaturated to keep it from clashing with the bird's lovely colors.

D7000, 80-400 VR @ 400, ISO 1000, 1/2000s @ f/7.1, +0.3 EV, HH

Bill:

Lovely bird, sharp, well exposed, nice eye.

Good decision on the building saturation.

A bit cluttered with the large yellow leaf on left and twigs behind the bird.

Cheers

Nice to see that parallel profile Bill. Goos and sharp all along. Lovely bird and the colours came through much as I remember them from the same area. BG a tad busy but out of focus just enough to not be a bother except maybe the leaf on the left - I might be tempted to do something with it (clone out or desaturate).
