seems like you are more enjoying your 70-200 than 500 this days. lovely epxpsure and sharpness here gail. loved the environmental feel here.

Gail, you have captured a beauty. However, a part of the beak seems to be lost in the BG. May be a bit of darkening of the beak would be okay?

Hi Gail, very well exposed on the YB Kite, and well timed to get the head turn, together with the raised wing position. Sharp, and I like the inclusion of the OOF foliage to break up a sky BG. Good to see you posting our African birds over your local birds. :w3

very cool Gail! It is a handsome raptor :) I think you can use HLS to bring up the shadows a tad. And thanks for the complement ;)

Nice capture, Gail. Super wing position, HA and eye contact. Only wish light was not so harsh. Think I see a magenta cast to the sky but since no one else has mentioned, may be my monitor.

Cool looking bird, Gail, nice & sharp, really good considering how bright. Like the head turn. I think I also see a bit of magenta in sky as Melissa mentions, but easy enough fix.

Good eyes Melissa!I decreased the magents, tweaked S & H for Arash and dealt with curvy branch.
