Hi Vivaldo, looks like you had enough SS so again, I would like to have seen more DOF on this one. Although I am not a great lover of a square crops, this might work, tightening up the image and perhaps it might also engage that eye more. Colour looks good and no need to lift anything on the faces. Interesting mark on the ear in the FG.

Is this another from the early days? :w3

I like your composition, also not a lover of square crops but it work nicely. I unfortunately cannot find a excuses this time Steve :w3:bg3: I never noticed the mark on the ear, it is wierd, looks like a shadow.

No need for any excuses Vivaldo, :w3 curious though the mark isn't it, I don't think it's a shadow, looks more like 'a mark', as there seems to be a hint on the other one too.

I am a little confused as to how this is considered a square crop the image size is around 36 by 25, hardly square:w3

The dark patches in the backs of the ears are perfectly normal, as that is the standard colour, although I will admit that it is not often we see the backs of the ears in images:S3:

The head angles could be better, but it is rarely anything other than bedlam at a kill.

So that explains everything, it might have been useful to everybody if Steve had posted his repost, then we may have been able to judge the outcome.

I hope you are happy with my explanation of the ear colouration, it is certainly not a "fault" in the image.
