We get some of these here every winter , but I have never seen one in flight. TFS this very fine flight shot. Great wing position and composition as well as exposure all blend to form a stunning image.

Great image. What really captured my eye were the bits of feathers caught in the wind and the exquisite turned up tips of the wings. You really convey the energy of a big bird breaking to land.
