Pallid Harrier (Circus macrourus)
Blackbuck National Park, Velavadar, Gujarat, INDIA

Handhold
1D MARK IV, 500 F/4 + 1.4TC
1/3200, f/9, ISO 800 @ 700mm

Please Correct if i am making mistake on the Harrier Identification as not much been experienced with harriers.

I could see moving the bird slightly to the left in the frame, and maybe run a touch of additional sharpening. This species very much resembles our Northern Harrier, and sharpening can be a challenge, even when the image is sharp.

I like the wing position, HA and agree with Dougs composition suggestion. Well done Mital!

Hi Mital, well exposed on the underwings, good detail shown there. I like the colours on the harrier, and your repost does look better.

Hi Mital,

I agree with the above comments, and the re-post is excellent. Female harriers all look pretty similar to ID, so I'm sure you're correct on this one.

Lovely flight angle and very nice detail with good underwing detail and classy exposure...Colors look superb
