My first contribution on BPN. Hi everybody !
We were walking around a Lorraine's little lake (East of France) when we saw this osprey fishing. It got a fish at second attempt then got far away.
Nikon D7000 with 300mm f/4 + 1.4x, 400 iso, 1/8000, f/8.
I had forgoten the camera in manual mode, so the picture was sub-exposed. I saved it with CS5 + Topaz filter. The result is not so bad, dont you think ?
Best regards.
Phil

EDIT. Sorry, I can't post the photo :e3 I dont see any "Manage attachment" buttom. Some help ?

Phil:

Welcome to BPN! In order for a forum participant to post an image, the rules are a bit different from members. I have included the link to the article about how to do it. Basically you have to host the image elsewhere (not on BPN) and link to it.

If you have problems, let us know.

Look forward to seeing your work.

Cheers :bg3:

Nice timing with the Osprey, and you did a decent job of recovery in post. Sharpness is good. But I wish the bird was flying towards us, and I'd probably place it lower in the frame. Also there seems to be a fair amount of noise in the water. Look forward to seeing more of your images!

Thanks Doug and Riju. It was a nice moment :S3: but, it's sure, the picture could be better...
Best regards.
