Beautiful bird, and a species I've never seen. Like the pose and eye contact. The perch is a little big for the bird. And fine feather detail could be better; was this a significant crop?

Ken, a good shot as it is. Same question as Doug, is it a large crop?

Striking colours Ken, and as mentioned, the sharpness could be better.

Lovely little bird. I see a lot of noise in the BG. How are you processing your pics?

This is a very large crop, whist the crop holds up in tiff the compression to this size has lead to what appears to be a significant loss of quality.
