I took this image when large flocks of starling flew in for the night to rest in a sheltered area.
I tried a lot with different shutter speed.
The image I like most is the one I attached.
I really like to hear your image critique...
At least I had a great evening, joining the birds and my camera :S3:, even if your critique is heavy :w3
BTW: Good to be back here again; hope I have more time to learn here again!

I love everything about this one including the black and white look, the different degrees of blurring, and the shape of the flock. Great to see you back here.

Love the different degrees of bluring as it gives the feel that the flock if rolling (if that is the right word)

Wow this is great!! Very creative and artistic. I love the distorted curvature on some of the birds. I'm copying this to OOTB as this image deserves to bee seen there...:w3

Vary rare I like blurs. I love this one. Abstract and graphical, B&W was definately the right choice. I hope this image is hanging somewhere!

Rosl....this is just stunning, especially with the negative space in the upper left and the differing blurs thoughout.

Really like the high key approach!

Wow, this one caught my eye from the thumbnail. Stunning execution of your idea to give a beautiful image for us to enjoy. Does deserve to be enlarged.

Rosl, I really like this. I think it's definitely worth submitting to WPOTY. They seemed to really like high-key images this year:S3: In any case, it's really well-executed and has a great artistic feel to it in terms of the motion and the composition.

Cheers,
Greg Basco
