Tough day for birds, had to leave Wako and head for Butterfly World, where there's always something to do, although finding clean backgrounds could be a big challenge.
Since the Bfly was parallel to my sensor, I got away with that DOF, helping the bg.
D300, 300/2.8
Aperture at f/4
no compensation
flash at 0 comp
hand held, iso 640

It was a spur of the moment thing Harold !!!!! Waco was very dead !!!!!!!

Particularly like the saturation and how well you were able to keep the body parallel to the sensor !!! Love it !!1

Totally agree with the rotation suggestion Robert but........................... I find it difficult to tell if its CW or CCW :D:D:cool:

maybe about .0015 degree on the z axis, parallel to the longitudinal azimuth.
Maybe not

Wow, Fabs....that came out fantastic. I was expecting to see you use a macro lens....then saw the 300mm.........cool. Yeah, you sure did get away with the DOF on that one. Excellent.

Beautiful composition Fabs - the colour combinations here really compliment one another, and F4 was a good choice giving that lovely soft BG. Well done!!
