Well, Doug beat me to a Bosque dawn shot from this past week ... Ah well, here is mine anyway.

Your sunrise is lovely as well, Brendan, muted and beautiful.

Ian,

Nice very early image and nice colors. A few birds. I would crop a little off the bottom; maybe include more sky.

Where are the huge flocks of birds? Any big blast-offs?

Hey Ian,
Very nice colors, I'm with Roger regarding the bottom....just above the mud or grasses that are horizontal in the LR. You could also go a bit off the top to pano.......but just an option for you to explore and not a deal breaker. If you go along the loop road.....you can find a few more places at sunrise with some better FG options....but not easy there!!!

Thanks folks. I tried a bit more of a pano approach. Thoughts?

Roger, I don't have anything to compare it to (this was my first time there), but I saw a bunch of blast-offs. I loved the place and will be going back again and again, I'm sure (I was there for ~5 days and got home Saturday night).

Ian, I prefer the repost. Why did you clone out the flying birds? Were they too small in the frame to add to the shot?

Thanks, Morkel. The few birds looked like specks of dust and I don't think they added anything to the scene.
