Taken lat month on my Yellowstone/Teton tour. I just love storm clouds as they offer endless possibilities!!! Used the reverse GND filter and 2 split ND filters stacked in this single exposure.
Canon 1D Mark 3 with the 17-40mm lens at 17mm at f/16 for 1/4 sec. and ISO 400 all tripod mounted.

Roman - this is other worldly looking. Presume this is Mammoth? I like the leading lines of the dried spring/calcite in the fg and the placement of the dead trees. The clouds are incredible.

Rachel

Hi Roman,
I like the way you balanced your exposure with the use of your filters. Wonderful natural colours in a stormy scene. I like the foreground interest points.
Thanks for sharing and best wishes,
Mark.

This has a cool apocalyptic look to it Roman.
It has a HDR look to it, it surprises me that it is a single exposure.
The filters really add a nice look and your comp is excellent.
