Mostly Mallards were flying down the creek and turning at this golden tree, but once in a while a Gadwall would show up which I was lucky to capture here.

tough to focus without a clear background so nice job. Wish he would have been a little lower and the colors extended the whole frame.
You might try some fill flash to lessen the shadows on the wing near the body.
Beautiful bird.

great pose and nice details, I have no problem with shadows in this one since they are not deep and details are good. the vertical OOF band below the near wing is a bit distracting, I'd clone it out. You can post 1024 pixels wide to show the details better :)

Nice pose and fall colours. I'm OK with the shadow on the wings too and also agree with Arash about the OOG line near the far wing. I'm sure the mallards would good against that backdrop too.

Ned, good flying posture, wing position and sharpness. Its such a pity the grey part of the BG merges with the mallard. I do find it a touch distracting.

Excellent flight pose and a technically challenging AF scenario. I too would consider cloning out the OOF brown stuff on the right.

Nice light, good detail, wings spread out - a very good image of the bird. The good eye catch helps to compensate for a steepish angle. Yes, the brown wash is a bit distracting, especially the strong vertical oof band.
