Been pretty busy at Reed Photo so I finally got a chance to get some images and make some comments. Captured this mule deer at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal in Colorado. Thanks for looking.
The doe is lying right behind the buck, but do not find her too distracting.

Very nice colors Dan.
I don't mind the doe at all. Adds to the scene.

Lovely light, IQ and stare here Dan.
In an ideal world it would have been nice if the doe was "flipped", ie that her face was on the LHS and more "discernable" :w3
Do you perhaps have a sliver more space on the RHS?

Dan - nice light and pose. The doe doesn't bother me. I agree with Morkel about a tad more on the rhs.

Hi Dan, nice posture and eye contact, like the raised leg. Amazing BG colour.

Great pose on this deer and presents well against this BG. Would like more space on the right as well. Deer in the BG doesn't bother me but I think without would have been even better.

Nice BG color and a good looking buck. I like his pose of the lowered head and raised leg. The pose, together with the lying down doe in the BG, gives the impression of him moving to protect her/his property. Finally got up there myself for the first time earlier in the month.

Dan,

Fabulous shot, it never ceases to amaze me that animals have survived at the "dump", just goes to show how nature can rebound from almost anything.
