I just returned from a too short first time visit to Bosque Del Apache NWR.
A very nice time despite some cloudy weather. A great refuge with more to offer
than just birds (see my post in Wildlife, my favorite Bosque image).
I enjoyed meeting and doing a little bit of shooting with BPN members Jim Neiger, and Doug and Kristin Brown.
I took better images I think than this one, but I thought it captured the feeling, mood, light and color of the Refuge.

Beautiful light Dan! Haven't seen sun like that yet this weekend. Enjoyed getting to know you and your wife!

Dan, lovely warm light, and well timed for the landing of both cranes. I really like the colours of the BG, and comp wise, I wonder how this would look if you straightened the wakes of the cranes. ( I can see you have based your rotation on the layers of the BG ) :w3
