A distincr rarity a pose at the end of a branch, but needless to say the sighting occurred on the way to the airport (flight to Mana Pools). The car was full of luggage and 4 passengers and I was sat next to the driver with very limited view and maneuverability, so I just had to put up with this, next time:bg3:

very nice bird. Anyone wud be happy to get such a shot on the way to the airport :-) reds are a bit blown and light is harsh....but nice pose an comp. Some would prefer the bird further to the left...which will also work.

Real nice shot. I really like the pose, but as Kaustubh has said reds are little blown. At least you managed to get a shot in what sounds to be a very uncomfortable situation.
Well done.

Thanks everbody, believe it or not I toned the reds down a lot, they really are remarkably red.
