This is a black-bellied plover, molting juvenile I think. It looks a bit different from the head-on angle. It was tough to grab focus on these little bullets coming at you at speed, but I got a few frames and thought about sharing it with you. hope you like it

Good eye contact Arash, and well done on locking focus on him. Thr browns and blues go together nicely, and I would maybe move him up in the frame a touch, as he's pretty central as is. :w3

Lovely background with good lights. Never seen such a cool species before. You nailed it!

Very cool shot, Arash, beautiful light, excellent exposure, and wonderful unusual look at this. Great job getting this speeding bullet.

Excellent shot, great head on, love the light and the dark blue background as it really brings out the bird.
Well done.

Arash,
always tough when there coming strait at you, you pulled this off nicely. The bird is vivid against that gorgeous blue backdrop!

I am envious of your remarkable in-flight skills. My only criticism is that the beak gets a little lost against the bird.
By the way, this is an adult: a young bird would not have the black underneath and the upperparts would be spangled less with grey and more with a light golden colour.
