A story teller. Nice exposure control birds are sharp and very nice formation. Wish it were a perfect cross. Very good image as is.

Awwwwww, so sweet, Hugh!!!
Tender moment in great light!
Wish for a bit more room on the left, and if you could, select her eye and do alittle curve adjustment to bring the color up :)
What's on his bill??????

Hello,
The light is fantastic on this image. However, there are few thing that can be improved. The image is not straight which can be fixed in photoshop. I wish the faces were not crossed as one head takes away from the other.
Thanks

First off, Fabs was suggesting lightening the eye in the shadow. This is a very nice image. I have seen and even photograhed this but have never seen the male's bill under the feathers on the female's face. Way cool. I thnk that the image is square to the world so no need for any rotation (unless I am drrunk...) Lastly, this is part of the post-copulatory display.
All in all, very well done IMHO <smile>

Outstanding capture Hugh, the soft light and interaction make but this over the top, and the bill tucked under the feathers is a unique element!
