Another of the leaf series I shot the other day, this one had a beautiful yellow coloring to the water and a beautiful caramel swirl around it.

Manual mode, Daylight WB, evaluative metering
Fill flash used
Processed in CS5 and Color Efex Pro 4

OH, OH, OH, OH....I think this is my favorite of the series! That smooth gold is incredible and the bit of water on top of the leaf is the icing on the cake! Wonderful! :cheers:

Thanks everyone for the comments. I was pretty happy with this one - it came out of the camera nearly perfect - very minor tweaks to get this end result. We all get lucky now and again... :w3

Hi Jules. You hit a home run with this one!! Everything is working here - the perfect leaf, great colors and patterns in the water, good overall sharpness and comp, and I love the little ripples of surface tension around the edges of the leaf. Outstanding! :cheers:
