From a few days ago. The baby is suckling from the nipple which is located in the female's armpit....:Whoa!:

Slight crop for composition

I think it needs 180 degrees of CW rotation :t3. But seriously, what a great behavioral capture. I doubt that many people would have even noticed the baby or known what it was doing. Contrasty light but the value of this image is in the behavior, of course. Thanks for enlightening us.

Cool image of adult and offsring Ofer,

I felt that the high-contrast could use some help so reposted with the following.

Highlight selection:

1) Channels palette.
2) Ctrl key and click the RGB channel. Photoshop will now create a feathered selection around highlight pixels in the image. Photoshop has selected pixels based on how bright they are. Pure white pixels are selected 100%. Pure black pixels are not selected and pixels falling in-between those two extremes are selected based on a percentage of how close they are to white.

Blending Mode Adjustment:

1) Go back to layer palette - you will see selection.
2) Create BG copy.
3) Create mask on the BG copy from the selection.
4) Selection is grayscale shaded.
5) Change blending mode to Multiply.
6) Adjust opacity. I left it at 100% for affect here.

I also sharpened it as the wings and face/body seemed a bit soft.

Great shot of an unusual subject. Wonderful detail of the veins and arteries in the bats wings. I liked the way Roberts repost darkened the bright leaf in the bottom right corner.

Neat shot Ofer. I really like the placement within the frame. Also like the clump of leaves anchoring the left side and the curve of the branch from which she's hanging.
