This is a composite of a stock bg and a flower from my garden whose lighting just seemed to fit together.

They sure do fit together, Bob. That makes a nice composite. The title is good, too.

The only thing I might've done differently, were it mine, is evict that pipe in the lower right so it doesn't appear to be connected to the flower. Not a big deal, though.

Bob, Different and interesting, way to step OOTB. Dennis makes a good suggestion. I hope you and Dawn have a lovely time in the Galapagos, I shot with my 100-400mm lens and my 500mm lens. :S3:

Hi Denise...Thanks for the well wishes! Wasn't it difficult to carry the 500mm on hikes? What about wet landings?

Bob, The crew helped us with wet landings, I am use to carrying my 500mm around. I hiked up Logans Pass in Glacier with it. You can always put your lg. lens in a backpack. The hikes weren't that long. Have fun!

Bob, interesting composition and very good composite. I will go the other way... the pipe seems to fit with the bg. Very nice work!

Indranil. Thanks for your comment! I kind of liked the pipe for some inexplicable reason and decided to leave it in....I was wondering if anyone else was as weird as me :w3

Bob, count me in the weird crowd:S3: I think the pipes give a surreal look to it and balance the centered flower. Have a great trip!

I'd say the lighting on the BG and flower are a perfect match! Very creative!
I also think the pipe should stay.....the flower needs to get water from somewhere! :bg3:
