Wonderful colors allowing his eyes and the lemming to draw me right in. Is this a youngster?

What an awesome capture, Chas. I love the colors, the sharpness, the captured prey. It all came together extremely well and what an awesome-looking subject.

Wonderful image of the fox. The tail of the prey is too long for either lemming. Can't make out enough of the pattern to ID what it is though.

SWEET! Seeing the thumbnail I thought this was one of your B&W conversions. Beautiful, subtle tones.
Agree that prey looks like some kind of vole.

A beautiful and moving image, Charles. The lighting you experienced to capture the fox is priceless.

Late to the party here, Chas...and my mouth is agape...:Whoa!::eek3:
I love this - for me one of your strongest images this year...the hint of colour in the eyes adds some pop, the exposure of the whites (snow and fur) is expertly done as usual, and the behaviour is top notch.

Eye candy...now let me sit and stare...:5
