Yogesh:

Lovely subject isolation, perch worked beautifully, handsome subject, well positioned in frame, nicely done.

Please be sure to post your focal length, f/stop, etc to help us understand the creation of the image.

Cheers

Randy

Hi,

Excellent overall feel for the sharp bird against the oof foreground and background. Some may feel that the bird's a bit small in the frame, but to me there's enough contrast between the bird and the rest that it doesn't matter. I really like the image.

Hi Randy and Richard,

Thanks for the comments. Randya: Actually currently i am posting image from India and all the EXIF is not available with me here in USA :(. So not able to tell exact exif but mostly it is F8@250mm, ISO 400 and -1/3. Some NR on the BG.

Lovely low angle. I like the blurred FG and BG grasses. Bee-eater is perfectly focussed but sharpening looks a bit much with prominent haloes. I love the way the green plumage pops against the brown grasses.

I have to agree with Tony on this one, the image looks oversharpened and the BG seems to be the same, also perhaps crop out or clone out the slightly protuding dark patch on the left?

Otherwise a beautiful image of a beautiful bird:cheers::cheers:
