Hello everyone. While photographing the sandpipers a group of these fabulous birds flew in by where I was at. Here a shot that I was able to capture.
C&C welcomed and encouraged,
Camera - Nikon 300s, Lense - Nikon 200-400 w/1.4tc, Exposure - 1/640, Aperture - F8, ISO - 400, Focal Length - 550mm, Metering - Multi Segment, Manual.

Excellent capture,beautiful feeling of water movement and action of bird.Very well composed.Nice lights.

Sharp and well exposed, nice ripples.
It does need some CCW rotation. Easy to tell based on eye and eye reflection location.

I like the repeating ripples at top, but might lower their luminosity a bit to keep our eye on the bird.

Sharp bird, well exposed, and I like the 3 different sets of ripples - one from the bill, one from the legs, and one surrounding the whole bird. You probably couldn't get any lower, but if you could have, it might have given an even better sense of contact with the bird and also made the bird and its reflection more symmetrical.
